LOGO DESIGN

LABEL DESIGN

A true startup with a shoestring budget, Salty Bitch Salsa needed a tongue-in-cheek brand with collateral that could multitask.

SALTY BITCH SALSA

Salty Bitch’s logo had to double as stickers for the top of the salsa jars and included the name cut off as a way to self-censor the controversial company name. It also featured a triangle shape and the face of the feistiest three-legged chihuahua which was the inspiration for the brand.

As a craft food, Salty Bitch used simple tape labels with handwritten elements to show the limited runs of the product.

These were stacked on the page so they could be easily printed in a home laser printer with scrap paper that would otherwise go unused. These strips were then ripped holding down a ruler to cut a straight, yet imperfect edge.
